Henry I, youngest son of William the Conqueror, was hunting in the Forest of Lyons in Normandy when he chose to dine on his favourite fish, which "mortally chilled the old man's blood", unbalancing his humours, and caused him to die of "a surfeit of lampreys".  A favourite food is a favourite food - we sympathise.

After this, the story becomes a long-drawn-out horror-comedy as attempts were made to preserve his reeking, leaking body while transporting it for eventual burial at Reading Abbey, not a mile from Present Indicative HQ.
